The Pen and the Moon
The Pen and the Moon
I’ve misplaced the pen.
The one I keep by my bedside.
It seems I hadn’t much
to write or unhide.
I was beginning to wonder
if I was drying up.
Too much business;
More « flatfoot », less « giddyup ».
But I think I’ll be OK.
Zero killed (just a few flesh wounds).
I just need the patience
Of many cool, cool moons.
