You Love Me More Than I Love Myself
If ever I had to choose between
God and my Guru
Without a doubt
I would cling to my Guru
Because it is my
Guru on earth who understands
The difficulties
Of an earth-bound existence life
And therefore takes
My karma as His own.
You love me more than I love myself,
To my mind this utterance
Is confusing.
We are each others’ Supreme necessity.
