Without you
I would tear this white sheet of paper from top to bottom
And in one final heaving breath
Leap out of the darkness
with fire in my eyes
and words too hot for human trust
seeking the monumental halls of silence
where numberless columns of light
fill the infinite space
with an unknown delight.
