Attitude
Attitude
It’s my attitude that’s wrong, on the inside
I know, Father, I act with arrogant pride.
I cause myself and others pain
Acting with splintering disdain.
I do Your Will on the exterior
On the inside I feel far superior.
Father, I need Your Love.
I am suffocating in my tight-pride-glove.
My arrogance is an inky black sea,
Its surface is closing over me.
Please, please set me free
And give me Your Eternal Humility.
– Nurari Merry.
