Simplicity

Simplicity

I am small enough to fit through the keyhole,
So no one notices.
I can be a simple, joyful girl
Walking between Aspiration Ground and the stores,
Beating the pavement between practices and functions and singing.
Small enough so nothing stops me,
Not family, not wealth, not career or importance.
Others may be too busy to come and enjoy the Cosmic Game
Being played out on the streets of Jamaica,
Or to see Your Face in the morning sun,
To feel the sunshine of Your Grace that falls on the simple.
