Pilots’ Stories
Pilots’ Stories
Circular rainbows are cherished from
high above
A lone, lost traveler is spotted
and lifted from the wilderness
Entire villages are rescued from invaders
at 10,000 feet in the Himalayas
Countless dying, sick, born and unborn
passengers are lovingly carried
to their destinations.
In the infancy of aviation
pilots followed railroad tracks
And squinted through darkness
for a mother’s oil lamp beacon.
Searching
rescuing
thrilling at the freedom of flight.
Surrender
Gratitude to the Supreme Pilot
Who truly holds aeroplanes and souls
aloft.
– Stota Morke-Fountain.
