Obligation
I feel
some obligation to tell the world
about myself, it is not
ego, no, it is
delight about consciousness as
a child discovers a toy, the gift
of life pulsing and
“Hey, Dad, Mom, what about thisâ€
and then I turn my head and
there is the whole world
full of you and all the others
The miracle starts to vibrate and
I am almost scared with awe, for
I am not in control and
it is moving on
