The Countenance of One Shining Face

The Countenance of One Shining Face

You see only form.
But this is a case
Containing countless
Cries and wishes,
That weave and grapple together,
To launch a claim
Upon the longing dreams
Of a lifetime.

You see only eyes.
But these are portals.
And if you gaze deeply
You can see a stream
Of light stretching
Beyond sight and

You see a surface
Forgetting that just below,
The wave spreads
All expanse wide enough
To cradle all forms and eyes
In an embrace
That melds all,
Into the Countenance
Of One Shining Face.
