Blue Again
Blue Again
Blue again,
the night sky’s clarity
has a presence
that reminds me of
a childhood church.
The deep navy carries
a silvered quarter of white,
curved for forgiveness.
Night is a blue flame
that burns.
My hopes await their turn.
They live in thin air,
The blue thin air.
